This past Saturday, Amalia performed her fight song “Renegades” at the Women’s March in San Luis Obispo. Following the 2016 elections, Amalia felt called to write a political song to inspire awareness. She originally wrote the song in November but was asked to perform in Mitchell park, downtown San Luis Obispo, for the march in which 10,000 people showed to make a difference and stand up for what they believe. The Women’s March was a worldwide protest for policies regarding women's rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, reproductive rights, the natural environment, and equality for all.
